Carl's Island

I'd like to share this with some of my friends.
This is a picture I took early one morning on
one of my many camping trips. The island is
on the intercoast of the gulf of mexico right out
from Clearwater, Florida. It's called Carls Island
because the man who found it's secret beauty is
buried there, he only lived to be fourty-seven and
spent most of his time there, I can understand why.
It's a place I can go when I get bogged down with
life's daily occurance. Sometimes I forget to take
time to enjoy life's simple pleasures and all we miss
being so "busy".

Glad to see you making such good use of your camera, Jerry. What a wonderful place and a great photograph. I can feel the mood. The palms blowing cause me to also feel the breeze in the air, further reinforcing the over all mood. But those clouds.....my oh my....just gorgeous. Well composed and well done. Thanks for sharing this magical place with us.
